So what do you hope to see in character creation? First of all I hope they really take their time to give us an expansive and varied character creation system. The right way to go in my opinion are games like Guild Wars 2, Aion and ABP. The wrong direction is obviously The Secret World (bah), WoW and SWTOR (suffers from too many ugly female faces syndrome).

What I'm hoping to see is the ability to make really pretty characters, with lots of options to create beauty, yet at the same time also lots of options to create mundane, normal and even somewhat ugly characters. Not freaks like you can create in Aion, but fat characters, old characters, etc.

Another thing really important to me but sorely missing from many MMO's is a more advance method of adding makeup to female characters. For example in Guild Wars 2 and many other mmo's your facial type decides which make-up you wear. I would hope for a expansive amount of options to set your make-up.

Finally I am really hoping to see piercings in this game. Some games have them, like WoW and EQ2, but many seem to be lacking it. I would love to create my character with a diamond studded nose piercing.

I love certain details. I'm not that interested in changing the length of the nose, the depth of the forehead etc. But I do love hairstyles, hair colours, face type, make-up etc. But I hope they don't make them too "pretty". This is a pre-industrial world, not Hollywood. But in general, I love customizing.
