What do you think Bethesda is doing?

I was just thinking about how Bethesda is taking this whole situation - do you think they're just casually trying to fix the lag issue saying it's not a very big deal either way, or panicking saying over 1 million people have bought skyrim on the ps3 and we must fix this?

I work at a large software company (we are owned by the NCAA). When a server goes down that makes the site unusable, all hell breaks loose and we do everything we can to fix it ASAP. Every time someone tries to log onto the site and is unable to, they will likely not recommend our product.

Bethesda is a business like anyone else. If their customers are not happy, they will not earn their money in the future. I guarantee they busted their asses to get those patches into certification.

Past experience with them suggests otherwise, but I'll remain hopeful for now, if this patch doesnt fix it then it'll be safe to say they wont figure it out.

Then they'll release DLC and pretend like it never happened.

If this patch doesn't fix it, then I doubt I will be defending them as vehemently. Also, if this patch doesn't fix it, I shall be picking up MGSHD collection....

What do I think they are doing? - Regression Testing across multiple platforms. I expect they will be busy for a while though hopefully we won't get up Patch 2.0.
