What do you think of C2's Multiplayer?

Post » Mon May 24, 2010 1:37 am

Here's some gameplay of Crysis 2's multiplayer.

So what do you think? I think it looks like a cross between Call of Duty and Halo. Of course we'll have to wait for the final product to really get a taste for it.

I think it svcks and Crytek likes to kiss MS ass way too much.

It reminded me of Medal of Honor. Which is a bad thing.

Yes... too much MW and BC2, altho I love BC2.

Crysis had it's unique multiplayer gameplay and style and it was mostly thrown away to become just another generic mediocre MP shooter which makes me a sad panda.

ps: sorry I just had to quoto South Park...

Not very impressed! Maybe the players are quite "noobs" :P or just they are programming the match in order for the main player that appears on the main screen to stay alive. But my overall opinion is... not very tense gameplay!

The single player is much more better!

Sorry for my English I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say...

I kinda liked it, although The people playing it weren't really good....
And besides, this is just instant action, the other modes will probably play better.

Looked like Modern Warfare 2, with some Halo special effects, and it seems like they threw in perks and air support.

But it still does have the Nanosuit, which means that it is 100% unique and original. /sarcasm.

In no way is it like Halo, but it is seems a lot like a futuristic CoD. I hate how just cos a game seems futuristic or has aliens in it, it's said to be "like Halo" or "a cross between __ and halo"

Still looks quite promising though, and hope they don't add cheap ways to get kills like in CoD (e.g commando knifing, noob tubing, etc).

It was pretty cool, although I would like to see more of the nanosuit and its features.

Looks pretty good to me. I love Crysis Wars, but I dislike a lot of the maps. The rooftop map shown today looked to be a step in the right direction in my opinion.

Also, I hope Power Struggle is handled carefully alongside TIA as well. Thanks

I like it, I was worried at first, but after looking at the video from gamescom I like it... it might be very MW/BFBC, but those are the best FPS out their.

Crysis2 is a contender in my opinion !

well it was just team instant action which is pretty much the same as teamdeathmatch
but i hope they will bring up better gametypes
but does anyone know if crysis 2 will feature an exp ranking up system like bad company 2 oder call of duty modern warfare 2?

it will have XP, in the video you can see the (+100) and the new limited edition talks about an XP bonus, so hopefully their will be a full ranking system in the MP !

It looks more like Crysis Wars, which is how it should look. Crysis doesn't really look or play like Battlefield or Call of Duty, which is the way it should stay IMO. Don't give them any ideas haha.

so far it look like it has potential, but for me the thing that matter most is the variety of the "modules" which will hopefully keep the game fun and interesting while leveling up

The video they showed so far didnt show much of the nanosuit. The gameplay looked very average. Doesn't look much anything new to me. But at least it doesn't take like 5 shots to kill like in mw2. Also i hated how the camera kept on zooming in on the people playing the game instead of keeping on the game itself.

I watched the video again. There are kill streaks at 3 kills he gets a radar scan? and at 10 kills he gets a alien gunship as far as i can tell. that svcks!

Here's some constructive critique, I haven't played the demo myself, viewing the video to me on first impressions looked great, looking out over the rooftops at the start was nice, i enjoyed the bunny-hops/jumps, i haven't seen a level like this in crysis-wars where you have a sprawling metropolis of buildings with enemies attacking from all levels, the PC version i assume will have better shadows/shading and graphics to feed my lust for eye-candy which Crytek usually deliver so well and because I'm not a fan of MW2 (although i have played it) i won't be using MW2 as a frame of reference, we have 6 months more or less to submit our gripes and bugbears which i hope may chisel away at the hearts of the developers in the UK and elsewhere to hopefully give us a better overall experience/game... but all in all, with this simple teaser i must say i was impressed, i know I'm going to enjoy it, I'm a PC-gamer myself and i think i always will be because of titles like this, i bought a new system on the back of seeing crysis1 for the first time :) but until i get my grubby mittens on the demo and run it on my PC and actually see how it all handles and runs with the game-play etc i feel I'm not really too qualified to damn it from a teaser video based on comparisons of other FPS titles, of course entering the world of console gaming besides the financial benefits for the developers will also bring a raft of praise or a slew of damning indictments usually from the ill-advised sector of the 'fanboy' gaming camp, but hey I'm going to enjoy the game regardless, unless it destroys my PC :)
