Class name: warlock of Malacath
Race : Orc
Skills : 1. Destruction
2. Conjuration
3. One Hand
4. Illusion
Stone: The Ritual stone

Role play : A follower of Malacath the lord of the orcs and the lord of curses.

What do you think of an Orc Mage that focuses on fire and necromancy?

Thanks

Very good, I must say.

Necromancy on the other hand, it is very hard to believe an Orc practices necromancy, but it seems interesting.

I think an Orc would favor a hammer over a one handed weapon. After all Malacath's gift is a War Hammer.
Also I don't think an Orc would use illusion...they would prefer a head on battle.

It seems pretty good. However, I wouldn't be surprised if you find your One-handed skill lagging behind your other skills. With Illusion turning your enemies against each other, Destruction frying them from range, and necromancy raising the leftover dead bodies to fight on your side, not much will last to get within melee range of you!

I like it, seems pretty intersting. Definitely wouldn't expect to an orc to use any of those skills, could be difficult at the beginning without any natural skill boosts though. Unique builds like this are always fun to play.

I like it,it's different for an Orc.
If you do find your one-handed or illusion falling behind you can always access the skill trainers for them from the strongholds.
The strongholds is one of the great things for Orcs in this game.

Ive seen an orc mage called Atub (a follower of Malacath) at Largashbur in the Rift near Avanshnzel

She was dressed in a robe and was casting spells.

Like others have said, chances are you will hardly need the melee weapon. Other than that, it seems pretty solid.

I think magic / alchemy is something associated more with the female Orsimer (in accordance to previous game racial stats and lore).

I think male Orsimer are traditionally more about melee in heavy armor and leave the magic to the women

I'd point you to Sharn gra-Muzgob in MW as an example of an Orc necromancer

She is the illusion trainer, she can train you up to level 75 I think.

There is also a male Orc in the library of the college of winterhold.
I don't think he is a mge but he apparently likes magick enough to tend to the books there.
