So what is your favorite race?

And do you have a different favorite when it comes to lore and gameplay?

My favorite is probably the Nord, at least in gameplay, but I am more unsure when it comes to lore.

I like Bretons and Dark Elves.

I use to play Dark Elves in Morrowind, but in Oblivion they were kind of blegh and found out I like Bretons.

But then in Skyrim they are awesome again. I have been thinking of making a Dark Elf for some time. Right now I am playing my Breton mage Deimos. My avatar is a reference picture of what he's suppose to look like. He's a destruction necromage.

With both lore and gameplay I like Nord the most. That has been so since I got familiar with TES when Morrowind was the newest game in the series. Anyway Skyrim has made me to have secondary favorite race too: Orcs. I disliked them almost as much as beast races in older games but now they are more likable.

Bosmer and Dark Elves. But lately I've been leaning toward Khajiit.

I like Argonians the most, their appearance/lore/racials/weird nature combo is appealing the most to me since I first saw them in Morrowind.

For lore I've always loved Elves - as in Tolkienesque elves. Noble, powerful, attuned to the earth, long-lived, etc. In skyrim I use Bretons as their magic resistance is very helpful.

Altmer, because nobody else likes them.

Always used to be Bosmer. In Skyrim its Orsimer.
Lorewise its between Bosmer, Orsimer and Khajiit.

I favor the beast races, Argonians in particular. They kind of fit my favourite character builds and personalities and they look like badass raptors.

I always like Elves. High Elves and Wood Elves share no. 1 spot, Dark Elves are second for me.

Argonians. They fit perfectly the kind of funny/weird character I like to play as, and my personality also fits an Argonian well.

If I had to pick one, I'd select Khajiit, of course.

its dunmer for me i reckon they make great assasins. i love the way they look & the lore that surrounds them...

My favorite are the elven races. My favorite lorewise are the Bosmer, but I tend to end up playing Altmer the most since I like pure mages (I'm not particularly fond of most Altmer NPCs though).

I feel more at home in Skyrim as a Nord. PlusI like the Nords of Skyrim, so I prefer the Nords over any others.

I also like the Redguards, Imperials, and the Dunmer after the Nords. I own something to the Dunmer, as they were my first TES race, in Morrowind.

Argonians and Khajiit are fine, also Orcs are alright.

I dislike Altmer and Bosmer.

I like Warrior-type races, and Nords, Redguards, and Imperials all share that 'warrior' aspect. Dunmer are ranked high because I also like Assassins, and they look like the coolest assassins. Argonians and Khajiit are fine, but I do not dislike them, they're okay, but I've never played as them. Orcs are good warriors, but to close to the 'bulky' warriors which I dislike (I prefer agile warriors). I dislike Altmer and Bosmer cause they're Elves, and use magic, and I dislike that.

I like the Altmer. But i have to admit when i play as a high elf the character is usually a loner who's been banished from his homeland.
