So vampires in general took a big turn with Dawnguard what with appearances, and also the style of the vampire lords. (Seemed very Queen of the Damned when in clothing.) Words I would use are warm, fiery, grim, and bloody.


Personally, although I was not wholly dissatisfied with the change, I do prefer my vampires more in the style of Underworld; cold and foreboding. My sister Azura on the other hand likes Twilight. Blegh.

So I wonder, within all the vast array of vampire literature and media, which is your favorite type?
And also, which do you think would have been most fitting if the themes of Dawnguard were different?

When I think of vampires I think of wells of knowledge, these vampires fit into skyrim pretty well (If you ignore the giant cut from chin to nose).

Underworld/Van Helsing. For both vampyres/vampires and lycans/werewolves.

If Dawnguard added a trenchcoat and cowboy hat I would totally go Van Helsing with my crossbow on some vampires.
