What is your favourite drink(s)?

Post » Tue Jul 10, 2012 12:15 pm

so, what is your favourite thing (or things) to drink? Coke? Fanta? Wine? Nuclear waste? Fruit juice? Orphan tears? (cookie to anyone who understands the last one)
my list is:
  • Bundaberg ginger beer. the best ginger beer ever made
  • L&P (a NZ lemon soft drink, tastes different from american lemon-flavoured sodas)
  • Kirk's creaming soda (aussie brand)
  • A&W vanilla creaming soda
  • A&W root beer (only had it twice, but its quite good
  • Graqe and strawberry Fanta
  • Vanilla coke

I don't drink soda often anymore, but if I had to it probably be Cream Soda or Cherry Pepsi. I drink Sweet Tea alot though, you know, the real, southern, kind. Other than that, water.

Sarsasparilla is a classic, as is water. Water tastes pretty good when it's not chemical crap or irradiated. Sadly, you'll get a bit of both with a nuclear plant spilling waste into the river and the city overloading on cleaning agents in the water.

Vodka is good, but drink enough of it and it loses all taste and tastes the exact same as water. Coke in a glass battle is fairly swell as well. Doctor Pepper is my favorite pop, but I can't drink too much of it or I lose my taste for it quickly. Pepsi Throwback is a solid choice of beverage, no matter which side of the pepsi-coke war you are on.

Chocolate Milk is a good meal replacer plus it tastes good as long as it's not industrial corporate crap loaded with syrup. I haven't really eaten today with the exception of breakfast and it's 8 PM, but I've had like 2 liters of chocolate milk and binging out on MLP and I feel fine.

Those are the drinks I mostly enjoy.

EDIT:Erginho reminded me of one of my favorites: COFFEEEEEEE!!!!

Water, almost exclusively. Sweetened Iced tea when I'm feeling generous to my body. http://www.yuengling.com/ for when even more generous.

And of course vodka. Got to love the "little water."

I've never understood the obsession with stuff like coors and bud lite, it's essentially water. Or perhaps that's what the people want. Very few people can withstand alcohol so maybe that's it. When it comes to the beer, I like the homemade stuff. I got a 1L bottle once when I was on a farm where it was made a local do it yourself brewery when I was about 15 and it was the best beer I ever had.

http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg844/scaled.php?server=844&filename=cider.jpg&res=landing from Normandy. Unfortunately I can't seem to buy it in BC, and our cider is very much lacking in comparison.

A lot of the limited run beers from Lighthouse Brewing Co. in Victoria, BC are really good. Belgian Black was my favourite from them, but that sold out in the spring.

First, it's cheap. Second, it's low calorie. That's why it's so popular amongst...how should I say this...alcoholics?

Haha, yes! We are downtrodden and misunderstood, but Malacath knows that it is the superior who are often seen as inferior!
