Hey folks simple question tough answer what is your favorite game this year?

For me personally it's a bit of a battle between the last of us, bioshock infinite and grand theft auto 5.

It was going to be most likely be infinite as it blew me away with it's story, characters, theme, plot twists and social dichotomy and then I played the last of us which got close but no cigar.

But like every life form on earth i have been playing grand theft auto 5 and I'm seriously impressed with what rockstar has managed to craft it has surpassed all expectations, i'm still holding hope for south park the stick of truth it looks fantastic so far and can't wait for it all to come to fruition.

It's most likely going to be a toss up between BF4 and GTA V.

One thing's for certain, I've got two games to look forward to.

Killer is Dead, most likely. It's not DMC 3 or anything, but it's a fun little action game with a neat art style. The soundtrack was also pretty good, and there were some neat boss fights. Probably the first thing worth playing from Grasshopper in the last three years. Apart from that, Metro: Last Light was a neat game. I dunno', I haven't played many of the AAA games that came out this year, as I wasn't interested.

Mind you, Disgaea D2 hasn't been released yet. I might just pre-order it from the NIS America site to get those lewd collector art cards.

I don't think I actually played and beat anything from this year.

Out of what I played I guess the Witcher 2, Kingdoms of Amalur or Mass Effect 3 would win out for me. I haven't gamed much this year.

So I can't really weigh in on this year. Any good games? Lol.

So far it's a close game between Bioshock Infinite and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. I don't have GTA V yet, so we'll see how that changes once I get my hands on a copy.

Rouge legacy, GTA V, Bioshock infinite, The last of us

..... Now that I think of it.... I havnt beaten anything this year!

But thats life.

The last new game(I say new because I bought Age of Empires II off of Steam) I bought was Farcry 3 last Fall so i'm not sure if that counts. GTA V is the only new game I've bought in 2013. I play Skyrim more than anything else but that's a 2 year old game.

But dang, I love GTA V. It's like Rockstar took all the good things and left out the bad from the other 4 GTA titles.

GTA V for me so far.

Even though I've only played one game released this year, it still isn't my GotY.

Looking at you, Rome 2.

Easiest question I'll ever answer. GTA V. I've played all major releases this year and there's no competition. Runner up would be Tomb Raider. I also enjoyed Splinter Cell Blacklist. Most underwhelming would be BioShock.

For me it's Saints Row 4 although I haven't played GTAV or any of the other big games.

I'm going to say Bioshock Infinite.

Well, the only one I've even played that was released this year was Tomb Raider, and that was a pretty awesome game, so that's my call.

I don't know, to be honest. Are these this year releases or just something I beat this year? Because I haven't beaten any terribly recent games at all this year, I think.

I haven't played GTAV, and looking at things now, it probably won't happen for a long time, so I really have no right to say.

The only 2013 releases that I've had time to play all the way through were Bioshock Infinite and Shadowrun Returns. While the gameplay was kinda "meh," the presentation, writing, voice acting, and art direction in Bioshock Infinite were pretty fantastic, so I guess I have to go with that. To be honest I haven't been all that amazed by much that's come out this year.

Unless the Witcher 3 comes out this year, it'll probably be GTA V.

Is it even a possibility it comes out this year?

I've only played two 2013 released games -- an expansion, Brave New World, and Metro: Last Light. I've enjoyed my time with Brave New World, and would definitely give it GOTY but I loved Last Light.

If only... but I have Wasteland 2 -- hopefully -- coming this year. I can wait.

I'm fine if people want to talk about games they beat this year, recently i've played and finished metal gear solid 2,3,4 and peace walker (half way through 1), final fantasy 4 (i love cecil), resistance 3 was a bit of a flop for me, 400 days, bit trip runner 2 and bioshock infinite and the last of us also fallout 2.

But my goty might be infinite but i'm impressed with gta 5.

So far I'd say Shin Megami Tensei IV. I never played any of the other games but I decided to give this game a whirl and it was pretty satisfying. I'm not completely through the game but I've been playing it quite a bit. I played Fire Emblem: Awakening and it was a good TBS game but I regret not playing it on a hardcoe game mode where it's dead is dead for party members.

As for non 3DS games, I have Bioshock Infinite waiting to be played and from what my friends have said, it should no doubt be up there on my list. Brave New World is also up there on the list (even though it's a DLC).

I haven't been playing too many games lately, I've been in to making money so that consumes most of my time. I do play my 3DS quite a bit though (can't wait for Pokemon X/Y).
