Why would you put laser sight on your weapon when enemies can see it? When you cloak they can't but if you aim down sight the laser pops out and reveals your location? The only thing its useful for is to look bad ass and look far. agree?

Yup, I unlocked that aswell and havent had any luck with it.

It allows you to shoot somewhat accurately from the hip because having it equiped turned off the recoil while hip-firing. In Crysis 1 multiplayer it was a must because everyone was using it and if you didn't also, you were pretty much screwed.

I haven't used it in Crysis 2 because I think it's dumb, personally. So, I have no idea if it still turns off the recoil while hip-firing.

i like it ppl using it makes for easy targets, but man i tried the gauss attachment very dissapointed looks more team control oriented to me.

I bought that as well and it was useless for me. It's supposed to drain suit energy but you only get one shot at a time before having to reload. You're going to die after that one shot.

It's best to use the Gauss first then unload w/ regular fire on your foe. It's used to counter balance the Armor boost you can also unlock.

I think it's just a perk for somone who knows the controls well and are quick at the draw. Some will use it and some will trash talk the hell out of it because it frustrates them.
