Whats your endgame?

Post » Tue Sep 03, 2013 11:27 am

Question i have for all you elderscroll online fans? What are you going to do when you hit 50? What are you striving for as you level your character?

This is where alot of companies get this wrong, not the payment system. Endgame is supposed to be the funnest part of your career, Not the in between part. If you cant figure this out then the game will not work from the beginning. This game will end like all the p2p haters say it will. So what do you all want to do in the system that the devs are showing us now?

I will be enjoying the endless fight in the only part of the world the devs will be letting us fight in cyrodil. I beleive it will be conquest correct? Seeing the other parts of the world i beleive by myself or joined only by someone in my faction which will make it a ghost town. Ok maybe the cities wont be that bad but i will miss the native players. I will add more when i can come up with more ideas.

If everything goes like normal. Im hooked to PVP like a few first week then slowly start to expand to other activities.

Btw, theres gonna be NPCs in cities, more guards during nights etc.

Anything PvE-related, really. Not much of a PvP guy, but I will try it out.

Cyrodiil. I will of course explore the other Alliance's territories and participate in any raid like PVE encounters (4 man dungeons bore me), but my main focus will be on Cyrodiil.

I'll do the 50+ and ++ content cause i genuinely would like to see the storyline of the other factions. And learn their crafting styles for armor-smiting. And exploit the 50+ and ++ phasing and farm materials and items at a faster rate then I could have from the initial play through. Creating a guild store that can offer competitive pricing and have a large stock of on hand materials; for making specific items on commission or to sell in the form of mats to people wanting to level their professions. The overarching goal of which being having enough capital to outfit my experienced and deserving members with the best craftable gear gold can buy.

I do a bit of everything really, I do raids and dungeons, go back to zones I haven't done yet for the story. And farm reputation(which can be fun, just don't make it too repetitive or take too long)

I don't really PvP, actually I hate it but that's because everyone else has PvP gear and I am just completely useless against them.(Also paladins, ugh) But Cyrodiil sounds very cool and if this game doesn't have PvP gear, I might just start doing a lot of it.

But I disagree that endgame is supposed to be the most fun of an MMO, I love levelling and both should be fun. Especially in an Elder Scrolls game since exploration is a huge part.

False premise right there.

Why can't I enjoy the trip? Some of us actually RP ya know. I have the blue cover book still in the box. Some bastard stole the dice and crayon but otherwise it's complete. Point being is, been doing it a while now.

So I love the story, exploring etc. Leveling up is just something that happens along the way.

In other words, you are once again seeing the world only through your own eyes.

endgame is a big part of it... Unless you just want to keep making alts. If you dont enjoy where you end up and there is nothing to do then what?
