Whats your fav bethesda game?

Post » Sun Nov 24, 2013 6:12 pm

Whats your top 2 games by bethesda?I would have to say skyrim and fallout 3.I felt like skyrim was missing alittle somthing.I loved the fallout 3, feel of fear that you got every time you turned a corner. Both games were crowning acheivements. They were my first loves so too speak.I also felt like new vegas was more of a shame than a success.

This probably belongs in Community Discussion since most of the folks here enjoy TES.

Anyways, I'm a newbie to Bethesda so Skyrim was my first title from them. Eventually found this place where I lurked for a while before I signed up.

I didn't say that. I said that since we're in an Elder Scrolls section, more people would say they like TES instead of Fallout.

Since Fallout: New Vegas is an Obsidian release I'd say Morrowind followed by Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Daggerfall.

Since every game made and/or published by Bethesda could be discussed here, this belongs in Community Discussion.

It's been a long, long time - but it's still Morrowind.

Daggerfall and Morrowind.

Most memorable was Oblivion since it was my first ES game though.

Im mostly a fan of open world games, and so far the the majority of games i have that are the best examples of this are Elder scrolls games and current Fallout incarnation, i prefer Fallout 3 over Skyrim because i think Skyrim just lacked real story background and quests, after awhile it seemed like you were just running around for no real reason, but i had endless enjoyment climbing mountains and looking at the beautiful scenery, watching the fish jump in the rivers, sometimes the little things can make a game.

Fallout 3 i enjoyed more because of all the places you could go and piece a jigsaw together of a world before the destruction, the major disappointment was the areas sealed off by rubble, would have loved to wandered into more buildings and more streets in the DC wasteland.

Ah, I forgot about Fallout! Spiffing series, that. Gotta love that post apoc feel. In comparison with New Vegas, FO3 was up a notch for me, in terms of atmosphere. The dead, barren and dreaded feeling wins me any day.

Oblivion and FO3 for me. Whatever the merits of their exact execution, they just felt like games where I could really be and wanted to spend time. I enjoyed the others too (well, from Morrowind onwards) but those two will always hold a special place for me.
