When were you emotionaly moved while playing?

Have you ever been emotionally moved while playing Skyrim?? I will have to answer "only once." I read the book "The Windhelm Letters.", and it haunted me for days. Other than that, I found the actual playing of the game to be fun, but largely left me unattached to the NPCs. Please share your experiences as well.

I also never found any of the NPCs interesting enough to become invested in, so I would have to say never :sadvaultboy:

Only one.

I killed a deer with a dagger, and as it's soul streamed into one of my soul gems, it fell staring me in the eye. I couldn't turn away for about 5 seconds, and it affected me so much that was the only story I told of my character's actions for days.

there is literally nothing in skyrim that would incite some deep emotional connection. fallout 3 and fallout NV had a plethora of memorable npcs but skyrim has no one except for Mjoll the lioness whom i married and that was because i love her accent. :)

Spoiler
Kodlak
dying was about the closest. Most of the other deaths were folks who had very little characterization or dialogue to begin with, and many were just annoyingly abrasive.
