When will Dishonored become available to Bethesda insider me : Othor Games

Greetings, I am wondering if there is any confirmation to the release date of Dishonored keys on Bethesda Insiders. Most games listed on the site were available on the site a day or two after release, for the exception of Skyrim which the keys with available on 11/10/11. If there is any confirmation to when the keys will be posted it will be very helpful to which platform I will pick up the game on today at my local midnight. If the keys are posted tonight I will pickup the Xbox version, if not I'll pick up the PC version tonight.

I was also wondering the same thing. I'm really looking forward to giving this game a go. I've been really impressed by most of the dev diaries and want to see what they've done to distinguish this from "just another stealth game".

That, and there's really no way to contact/discuss anything with others on the Insiders site. There only seems to be the 'send feedback' thing over there, and I don't know if that even nets you a response from anyone. I'm surprised at how tough it is to find discussion relating to it other than the usual "Hey, look at this retail rewards site I found!" topics when I try Googling it.

Even on twitter, we are only being told to contact the Insider's site, which only tells us that we can contact Bethesda on these forums or twitter. Simply being given an answer like, "we don't know if/when Dishonored will be available to Bethesda Insiders" would be better than this wild goose chase we're being sent on. At this point, it seems like Bethesda doesn't really seem to have any knowledge of how their own retailer loyalty site functions.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that it will be available on or after October 12th, the EU release date.

I came here to check if there was a known issue with the release on the Insiders site, but seeing as there is not really any information I can only imagine that they are delaying it for everyone, instead of some people getting it a few days early for their region. Unless of course they are not planning to release it at all, which doesn't make much sense.

It's seen practically no updates in the past eleven months, ever since they released Skyrim. I remember receiving an email from them mentioning that they were planning on adding prizes like t-shirts shortly after that, but never heard anything again. There's been very small updates like Prey 2 and Dishonored being added to the videos/information area, but it's nothing on the scale of what there used to be. I've been wondering if Bethesda's just given up on the site.

I think the site is for the most part, dead. It's sad to say but when they haven't added anything other then 2 videos in almost a year its a pretty clear sign to me. I was hoping the would add the DLC for Skyrim to the store and that never happened, so to me at least, I dont see them throwing dishonored up there any time soon.

If you work for walmart, target, best buy, or game stop, you can sign up to be an insider and you watch videos about the games and answer trivia questions about said games. In return you earn points and could use those points to get say Skyrim or RAGE or some other stuff. Now though, alot of are starting to believe that they forgot about us and have abandoned the site since there has only been 2 new videos (dishonored) added in the past year.

it was mostly so people SELLING the game would know what they're talking about...i got a email saying they were going to start selling Tshirts and such at the site when they updated the dishonored stuff. kinda strange that they abandoned it so soon after makeing grand plans...

Yeah i got the same email. I work at GameStop and could easily just pick up this game but I've been holding out in hopes that they will release it. At least I have other things to keep me occupied.

yea, playing Xcom and Borderlands at the moment...The parents were asking for something to get me for xmas this year, guess it'll qualify
