Also, play to test, don't test to play. Open beta probably in a few months, half a year, year, w/e.

Yep sounds like that to me too. Beta isn't a demo buddy you are in there to make sure the game is running right not see how fun it is.

I for one don't want to play the beta..I'm sure it'll ruin my go live experience, I want it to be new to me

The next invites will be after E3, i think so 2 weeks after that means end of june.

Didn't they say something about wanting to keep their small # of testers..? So It's probably safe to assume there's only been one round of invites up until this point. But yeah, after E3, when there will be a wealth of information displayed I can imagine them sending out another round of invites (with my name on it I hope).
