Where are quests descriptions?

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 5:38 pm

Hi,

Just started the game and there's something I really not like about the journal:

There are those "other" quests, sorry forgot the exact name of the category in the journal is after the named quests, before the completed ones, I'm at work not with the game near me.

I had a dialog and the NPC told me something about joining some faction. The only thing left in the journal is something like "Speak with [name]" (again I don't have the game here to post exactly). How am I supposed to remember why should I go there and speak with someone if I choose to delay that and when I'll have lot of quests there. Is there an option to see a quest description which I missed?

Thanks,
Luke

You aren't supposed to remember, you click it and you get a quest arrow. That's the case for all misc quests. I don't like it but it is what it is.

Is not about getting the arrow to know where to get, that is OK, I know how to use it.
Is about having lots of quests and not remembering if i wished to do one or not (yet). Or which quest will send me to the thieves faction and which to the mages faction, things like that...
But from what you say I get it that there's no way to see the description, I didn't missed anything :(
Thanks,
Luke

Running in the same problem currently. I managed to get over a dozen entries so far just by talking to a lot of town folk and can't remember which is which and where I managed to pick them up after I inevitably get sidetracked.

Yes, you can get a map pointer to point you in the right direction, but that isn't enough. A more detailed explanation in the journal is more than welcome. Heck, I'd settle with the ability to make my own notes.

Also the arrow doesn't always work. Several quests I have don't show the arrow with the quest selectefd.

You have to tell the game to show "unmarked" side quests on your map/compass by activating the button below your normal quests, as well as activating the individual side quest.
