Where are really devoted fans of ps3 version

I remember a few months ago there were many fans here who used to say the game is fixed especially when 1.4 update came up.

They said you have to start game from the beginning after update so that you'll get the effects of the updates. Now when it's 1.7
we all know the game is not fixed. My question is, are there still those fans who claim you have to start all over after the newest update and
by starting all over gonna fix lag and other problems?

Not saying starting over will indeed fix your issues, but starting over whenever this is a new patch is generally a good idea. Things that are already broke in a save usually can't be fixed with a patch, the patch will just essentially keep it from happening on a new save.

Yes people will tend to say start a new game around here but only because there is a problem with thier save game and it can't be fixed by deleting and reinstalling the patch and game data. Sometimes starting over does fix some lag and problems but like any other Bethesda game on PS3 it's but your on luck that it can run or not.

So when 1.8 arrives do I have to start a new game to see if the lag is fixed?

When does this end?

Most likely but have you tryed deleting and reinstalling your game and patch data to see if that works.

When Bethesda officially drops all support for Skyrim and/or the PS3 in general.

The same thing happens with each patch: People play for a bit, exclaim it as the second coming, and then generally never report back once they've actually played for hours only to have things come crashing right back down on their heads.

That's what these patches do. They never actually fix the problem as that is beyond Bethesda's ability. The issues are simply nudged down the road a bit in terms of time and they even have some amazing placebo effect which causes people to completely miss the framerate drops in the very opening sequence of their newly patched 'new game'.

Very weird and it'll happen again if the fabled 1.8 patch ever comes to PS3.
