Where are the best areas to kill Thalmor repeatedly?

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 12:18 pm

My topic kinda speaks for itself, so if anyone has some pointers, they would be appreciated.

However, just to avoid confusion, where can I find Thalmor patrols or fortresses where they respawn, if any?

P.S. - If anyone wants to know, I'm playing a female High Elf whose personal backstory is that of a anti-Thalmor refugee, who, as soon as she escaped Helgen with Hadvar, decided to ignore speaking with Jarl Balgruff and instead decided to go on a one woman quest to kill every Nazi elf she could find.

However, since she has little idea where to find great numbers of them to slaughter, she needs a little guidance for her quest.

I raid the embassy on a regular basis. Mostly sniping outside guards from the rocks above and then melee inside the compound.

They turn up repeatedly as random encounters on the roads, usually leading a prisoner. The Whiterun-Ivanstead road is always a good spot. You can make them hostile by freeing the prisoner or talking to them and telling them you are a Talos worshipper.

I noticed that the Thalmor in Nortwatch keep won't respawn once the "missing in action" quest is over. A nice touch... the guards in Whiterun will comment on that even if you're pro-imperial. They say something like: "I heard about your dealings with the Thalmor. You surely know how to pick up an enemy"

Yeah, he mentions you giving them a black eye! :D Another one goes something like, "I wonder how the Thalmor feel, now that they've been taken down a notch." That last one is perfect for them, as they believe they are so superior to Man, yet a Nord (albeit Demi-Dragon) busts into their prison and massacres at least a dozen of them :) Love it

How do you get inside the compound? I haven't found a place where I can jump the fence.

I had them start coming after me before I started killing Thalmor. I don't know if this was a glitch or due to an apparently unrelated quest - but I sure appreciated their 'donations'.

I'd say Summerset Isle. But we'll have to wait for either the "TES V: Skyrim- Death to the Wretched Elves DLC", or "TES VI: The Burning and Pillaging of Summerset Isle"... whichever comes first.

You should stop fast traveling. It will make the world much better and more enjoyable. I encounter Thalmor agents quite often and never fast travel. In case you're wondering I kill them all on sight. I don't care if it gives me a bounty because I am a true Nord Patriot and not some whipping boy for the false empire.

I just wish you had more access to black soul gems in Skyrim.

It's not enough to end their lives, I want to make them suffer for all eternity.....

Join the mages College and talk to Enthir. he sells them.

That, or just turn Azuara's star black.

I love how call out the Aldmeri Dominion for killing and kidnapping their enemies and then going on brutal bloody rampages killing and kidnapping the Aldmeri - protip: Spend too long fighting monsters and you risk becoming a monster yourself.

Also, for the OP: The khajiit trade caravans are Aldmeri Dominion civilians; just a note depending on how far you care indulge your psychopathic tendencies

The Thalmor deserve it!
And those caravans are property of the Thieves guild.

Are they? - Didn't know that. Doesn't change the fact the khajiit are Elsweyr citizens which makes them members of the Aldmeri Dominion ;p (It's unlikely ALL of them were born outside of Elsweyr and/or are exiles. Esp[ecially given they spend all their time discussing how much they miss the warm sands of home, it's clear they intend to return home to the dominion happy and wealthy some time... just like my character (svck it imperials/seperatists ;p))

There's a quest to get inside.

Otherwise, you can annihilate everyone outside and in the barracks room.

I give them the option to change their ways after I tell them I worship Talos. Never fails, always attacked, no bounty and a donation to my continued health fund with fresh armor.
