All I remember that was said was that there was " two fortresses that you can make your own and kinda trick out..."

Which is kind of bogus about making your own and tricking out, besides the weapon racks and mannequins that all houses have.

ya the only new homes are the 2 castles. idk where u heard 4. all u get is a room in each castle and u cant change anything

Only 2 I believe castle volkihar and the dawnguard fort, which aren't really homes.

Well, I know when you finish the DG side, you get a room with mannequins. Which I think is safe. Dunno about the VL side.

But yah, you only get the fort/castle. No actual homes.

Maybe relevant but after the "ending", if you chose to help vampires Harkon's coffin goes from owned to not.

Im kinda iffy about putting stuff in Harkon/My room, i have put salt piles in all of the wardrobes and the chest under the desk and they havent dissapeared yet....if anybody has put their stuff in there and left it for a prolonged period of time please say so...i would rather not spend 5 grand on the whiterun house.

I don't remember hearing anything about four homes either. Might have been a bogus sorce? God knows Todd and Pete aren't always straight with us, but I don't think it was them this time.

5 grand is nothing. But I have put stuff in the chest under the table in harkons area and nothing has dissapeared yet or I t might not it seems safe.

Yeah the game informer says New Homes, So they should be to be decked out with new stuff and your spouse should be able to be there and should be able put weapons in new display cases and they also said they'd have exclusive things as well:(

Yea it says new homes and then if you read further it only talks about the two castles.
