It's already late April and the next copy paste iteration of CoD still hasn't been announced yet. I'm pretty sure previous games in the series were announced a lot earlier in the year. They could wait until E3 but is it possible the developers are actually going to take their time with the next game and release next year or later?

If it does come this year I'm going to bet $100 that it's Modern Warfare 4 and will be releasing in November.

They'll take their time and make a game that is actually somewhat different.

Black Ops and Black Ops 2 were both somewhat different...

They weren't great games, but it's worth saying that they were more creative than the main series.

Black Ops 2 redeemed the franchise for me, such an awesome story.

Yeah its true, call of duty is about due for another game announcement followed shortly by a release.

It seems assassin's creed has taken the mantle from Call of duty for the Copy and paste 4 month between games release. I mean assassin's creed 4 is already announced and coming out, and AC3 came out like 5 months ago.

Maybe call of duty backed away from their copy and paste games, as people are starting to catch on, and so ubisoft decided to get AC to take their place for copy and paste hacked together games, which people wont catch on for like 3 more games or so.

Surely this is one of the signs of the apocalypse.

There is the off chance that actually are taking a bit longer to make a better game.....But I think COD MW4 will be out by November anyway....
