Not sure many people know yet. Give it a day or so.

As long as you don't leave stuff in them for very long (a day or two) the urns are like barrels. Should make for temp storage.

I had to use a barrel and then fast traveled back to my house in Skyrim to unload. Then fast traveled back to get the stuff out of the barrel.

As in how can I purchase a house so I can store my loot? It's easy to get over encoumbered. I remember in Fallout 3's DLC they would put a chest to store my loot. Here in this DLC this isn't the case.

What I did was put some stuff in a barrel/urn, and fast traveled back to Skyrim and unloaded and then went back to get my plunder in the barrel/urn. Have not yet got the house.

Completing the questline for the Raven Rock Counselor gets the Manor as a reward. Start it by heading SE, just out of Raven Rock. It's a scripted encounter with the Guard Capt and some Ash Spawn.

Got the manor. It is very nice looking with plenty of storage. Has an alchemy table, enchanters table, chests, manquines (spelling), a place for your follower to sleep, etc

This manor is good news. I'm lugging around tons of really cool crap that I don't want to lose.

followers sleep? I thought they just creepily stare at you sleeping all night :P

it's a nice house but a shame you can't move the fam there...I guess that makes it a big man cave then, now only if I can invite that female dunmer from raven rock who always flirts with me :P

The only bad part is that I cannot bring my husband and kids to live there. Oh well.

My Ass..assin doesn't have the extra baggage. However, I can see how that would be an issue for some.

I am a little saddened that the bed only grants the 'Rested" perk and not "Well Rested". Alas, I will survive.

Wait....
Is it the quest to
Spoiler
kill General Carius?
All I get from that quest is quite a bit of gold. No house offered at all.
