Where does Annekke go when she leaves?

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 8:25 am

I like Annekke the most for companion, and at some point I dismissed her and she said she'd go home. Later I go to darkwater crossing to take her with me and she's not there. I waited, I slept, I searched the mine, the lake, the house, and then wait again, etc... she's nowhere to be found, her husband sleeps alone at night, I broke into the house. Anyone knows how to find her? I tried her daughter's place too.

Maybe she died on the road, I found her in the mine when I needed.

Nooooooooooooooo! Does she actually travel all the way back even when we're not nearby? I thought they only travel in real time while we're still in the same cell (because another time when I dismissed her I changed my mind and sprinted after her and caught her pretty fast, she only got from Whiterun to the brewery) and then teleport somehow...

I guess this is correct, I tried once to catch up with the companion I had just sent home and he simply vanished. How many days did you wait, maybe she's slow and between you and me shes not quite the faithful wife either lol

Haha yes that's why I like her she's a rebel and hot. I waited a lot of days and besides I've been gaming a lot since I dismissed her.

If you're on PC you can use the console to summon her at your location.

They sort of travel through the map. Random encounter shouldn't happen but the game doesn't magically teleport a character to the destination once it exists the current cell.

To be fair, the blacksmith in RIften died randomly on one side - no dragon attacks, no nothing. I just "found him" in the graveyard cell when I teleported to his location using the console.

That was a horrific experience. I was a member of the DB and there had been a number of destructive dragon attacks besides that.

Thats a bit of a slur on her character IMO.
Shes not an obedient little stay-at-home wifie and good for her, but nothing to indicate shes unfaithful to her husband.

I've always found her back at Darkwater Crossing although I've sometimes had to wait a day or so for her to turn up.

Well forgive me for being a man with imagination :D she's kinda sixy, she calls her husband a milk drinker and off she goes seeking adventures with a stranger... that cries [censored] HOTWIFE in my head.

Not sure how this works, but her losing the items may be because you forced her in the console. The character might be "refreshed".

Nah, that would cut her wings. I like the way she is, independant. I can roleplay being lovers (sorry Amazon Queen). It would be kinky though if I married her daughter in these circumstances.

Here,s a tip if you dismiss companions who are dear too you you should escort them back too theyre home so the script for that companion can take over , i think its the safest way too do :)

she does look a bit like Sophia Loren does she ?

Not sure this always works as expected... I dismissed Lydia in Whiterun, and even though I owned Breezehome, Lydia didn't walk back to Dragon's Reach or Breezehome, but instead went out the city gates and started walking across the countryside.

I was curious about where she'd go, but in the end got bored following her and re-employed her.

She lost those items because what you summoned through the console using "placeatme" is actually a copy of Annekke. You placed at the PC the copy of the REF ID of Annekke so now she( or better yet, her evil twin sister) has the standard equipment that the REF ID has.

You should use "prid RefID & moveto player" -- from UESP.

Funny how "attached" we can get to these characters, huh...I like Annekke as well.

I spent ages the other night choosing who I should take to the Shrine of Boethiah,
Spoiler
(what with the person getting sacrificed and all that. Certainly wasn't going to be my wife, Lydia, or any of the characters I've met and quite like, but as I can't stand Njada Stonearm I decided it'd be her.)
