Where Do Imperials Go? : V

Just rather curious. Nords go to Sovngarde upon death, so where do Imperials go? Do they have a heavan, or what?

The Imperials were once the same people as the Nords though... when do you think their religious beliefs diverged from one another? Originally, didn't they believe in Sovngarde too? Could someone explain more about Aetherius?

Aetherius is where a soul goes upon an individuals death, where it is then recycled and reincarnated.

I think places like Sovengarde and various Daedric realms are exceptions, for various reasons.

Yup, Aetherius. If you listen to the priestess giving you your last rights in the beginning, she talks about commending your souls to Aetherius.

Unless of course you consort with daedra...

Aetherius I believe, Sovngarde is the Nordic interpretation of Aetherius in their culture. Not sure if there's any lore information on the other versions of Aetherius like there is on Sovngarde though.

So the Imperials adhere to a belief in reincarnation? Do the Bretons believe the same, what about them? Do the people of High Rock share the Imperial religion and afterlife beliefs, or do they have a different system?

nah souls are recycled, cleaned and plooped down into a new mortal vessle, shor is just hoarding all the hero's he can til some awful fight or something

Wait, so spirits don't actually stay in Sovngarde? Or is there some power there keeping the Nord spirits there, and them only?
