Where might I find fire salts? : V

Have a task to get 10 of these for a smithy in Riften and I have no idea where to look.

Alchemy vendors, Fire Atronachs, and some dungeons (random mostly). :confused:

Alchemy vendors dont have it if your task requires it so you can't just go and buy it.

Look around mage dungeons, they always have fire atronachs. (I'm pretty sure you can't loot your own, if I remember well)

You can buy them, I've done that quest 2-3 times and a good percentage of the Fire Salts I brought him were purchased from alchemy shops. The last time I did it I think I bought all of them, if I found any by chance it was purely by chance as I didn't go looking for them anywhere but in the shops.

However they are a "rare" ingredient so the chances of them turning up in vendor's inventory are not that high.
