The only good bow shop i have found is the first you come to in white run the drunken huntsmen . I seen a few more but none of them have any decent items to buy. Just wondered what others thought is the best store for archers to buy from

There's a fletcher in Solitude.

His inventory is going to be scaled to your level, but he sells bows and ammunition.

So I guess technically there is no "best" place to buy any item in the game. All shopkeepers seem to just get a random inventory every couple days when their shops reset and that inventory seems to be scaled to your level to some degree (As an example, my character didn't start seeing ebony ingots on the blacksmith vendors or daedra hearts on the apothecary vendors until I was at least like 20-25+)

With that in mind, traveling to the Solitude fletcher probably isn't going to net you any better gear aside from you potentially gaining some levels on the way, or the random number generator gods smiling on you.

Also if you do the Thieves guild it has a fletcher

Been its the bits and pieces shop .... they inventory stinks though currently at lvl 23 and still will not sell me elven arrows ? the drunken huntsmen been selling since around lvl 15

Dont most of the smiths sell bows and arrows? I am pretty sure they do.

Bits and Pieces is the general store in Solitude. The fletcher is up near the castle next to the blacksmithing station.

done that questline and same thing the fletcher there has nothing worth buying. That the sad thing so far the only shop with anything thats any good is the drunken huntsmen. I hoped the shops would have around the same gear lvl but they do not they all stink so far.

If you're that hard up for ammunition or a new bow, you can always just sit outside of a shop that sells what you want and wait 24 hours at a time. Check the shop every day or two and you can just sit there until you have enough ammo or whatever it is you're looking for.

I've found the easiest way to get steel arrows is in Solitude in the Imperial guard training yard or in the Ragged Flagon Cistern in the Thieves guild. There is almost someone practicing archery and you can stand next to the target and pick up the arrows as they shoot. I know they are just steel arrows but you can always switch for tougher battles and only use the steel arrows on easier foes. I have over 300 steel arrows from doing this.

Forsworn bow (Legendary) > everything else

The Fetcher in Solitude is a good place to start but usually the other weapon merchants carry enough archery stuff.
