It doesn't really make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, but I really liked how you could find a treasure map, figure out the location on it, and go find a treasure chest. Now I can't find any of them, even ones I had found with my previous character. For example, the one near Riverwood, I kill the bandits, take the map, read it, go to the location the chest was always at and it simply isn't there. Is this just me having this problem?

That's weird. I haven't had that problem. I had trouble finding one of them, but it was ultimately there. I haven't had any disappear on me.

It's confirmed they disappeared in Patch 1.2 and the PC Patch 1.3 doesn't list a fix for them, so they may or may not be back.

Ah. That svcks. I haven't patched, because my game works fine as is. I won't be patching until it's necessary. That might be why I haven't noticed this happening while OP has.

Yeah as generalnmx said, the 1.2 patch screwed up all the treasure maps. I was hoping it would be fixed in 1.3, but it looks like they have their hands full fixing other issues.

Not like it matters anyway, all the best loot is crafted and the only things i've found in them are random vendor drops.

As of 1.3 they are back :3
