Sorry but an Elder Scrolls noob here. Is your health bar, mana bar supposed to be visible on the screen ? Also, I don't see any type hot bar for spells or anything. All I see is the compass bar up top. I'm on a PC. Thanks

They are only visible when depleted, so if you get hit for example, your health bar wll pop up at the bottom of the screen.

I have this problem and it is not from being full health/mana/stamina either. I see the top of those bars, but the screen itself is chopped off at the bottom. I can't see the numbers at all or the gold in the inventory display. I haven't found any vertical sync or width setting in the only game menu that relates, the "display" menu. Is there something I can do in an Xbox system menu? It is possible to find out how much gold I have by activating a container and looking in miscellaneous, but the only bar I can see even a sliver of the top of clearly is the red health bar. I can't see what's going on with the stamina bar (kinda with the mana bar). It may be somewhat important to know my health and stuff.

There's no action bar.

There is a "Favorites" menu (default command "Q"). When you're in your item menu, you can tag items / spells / etc as "Favorites". They will then show up in the little Q menu. In that menu, you can hover your mouse over an item/spell/etc, and then hit 1-8, to assign it to that key.

(So, I have my sword tagged "1", bow "2", shield "3", and heal spell "6". With sword & shield out, I can hit 2 to switch to bow, and 1 to switch back. Or I can hit 6 to ready the heal spell in my shield hand, then hit 3 to get the shield back when I'm done healing. The system gets a bit fuzzy when you're trying to switch around with things that can go to either hand, like spells & dual wielded weapons.)

I was wondering about this myself.I was watching my son play and his bars were across the bottom.

I'm having this problem as well I can only see just the top of the bars and if there's any bars under the stamina and magicka bars I've gotten to level 16 without em.
