Which is better? the Rat Rod (from your dlc) or Cuprino

Rat Rod has 50% more HP than the standard Buggy, but compared to the Cuprino I'm not sure. I do know the Cuprino can use Miniguns AND Rockets instead of having to pick 1 at a time.

I like the Rat Rod but the handling is a bit more touchy it seems. Cuprino is a beast with the V-10.

I also don't recall any way to upgrade the Rat Rod's armour but the Cuprino can have up to heavy armour.

The Cuprino beats out the rat rod in every way especially armor and weapons, the rat rod is essentially a buggy with extra health thats it.

Cuprino is best when compared to the Rat Rod, yes. But the Monarch is just epic badass.
