I'm a supporter of the Stormcloaks, meaning I don't like the Imperial Legion, and I really hate the Black Briars.
I also can't stand the Thieves Guild -- bunch of Imperial mafia gangsters in the cahoots with the Black Briars and Dark Brotherhood.

I completely forgot about the Greybeards and Paarthurnax too. First the Beards, an absolutely useless order who firstly polute an area of natural beauty with their hidious fortress, second devote their entire existance to learning and preserving a dead language which is also a very powerful weapon and thirdly rely entirely on the kindness of the people of Ivarsted to climb the highest mountain in Tamriel to bring them food and the Beards don't even come outside to say hello - just leave your tribute in the chest outside and piss off. Absolutely tossers every single one of them, recruiting young kids (like Ulfric) into their stupid, isolated order to lead pointless lives - at least Ulfric was passionate about something and left.

And their leader Paarthurnax is just trouble waiting to happen, Way of the Voice my ass; he openly tells you it requires much of his effort to suppress his "natural" dragon impulses and his name in English is something fierce too. Like I'm going to let that guy lead the surviving Dragons.

Seems alot of peeps don't like the Blades, The first time I played the game I went with the path of the Blades because I thought they were similar to how the Blades were in Oblivion, I was wrong. Even though I still picked the Blades on my latest playthrough that's only because the alternative, the Greybeard, are even worse. if the Greybeards got as they wished then The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim would've been walking up to the mounting and then sit around meditating until the world was eaten Alduin. And the only good dragon is a dead dragon

The Blades are damn awesome, people just don't like killing Paarthurnax - that's all. "Ugh, they don't do anything for me," seems to be the reasoning.

No, they demand the death of someone who has spent thousands of years making up for his crimes. But that's not good enough for the Blades, oh no.

Besides, he's a friend of mine. No way I betray a friend. If they want him dead, they'll have to do it themselves.

The Enclave, you speak alot of truth, and from reading the in-game books and other Elder Scrolls lore that Jurgen Windcaller only founded the monastery because the Nord army got owned at Battle of Red Mountain, he then came to the conclusion that it was wrong to use the Thu'um in battle, even though you know, it is a weapon, and that the Nords lost because they used it, and not because, you know, they were in a civil war while at the same time fighting a war with the Dwemer and Chimer. And anybody who thinks sitting around and not caring whether the world is destroyed or not is a good thing, then all hope for ya is lost.

They should put you in charge the Imperial law system.

Making up for his crimes how? Meditating and teaching hermatic monks how to speak Dragon? No. The Blades have a far more reknown history and worthy existance, sorry if they're trying to stop the Dragon problem - I guess they view killing Alduin's former right-hand man as a prudent measure and don't accept the "He's my friend" arguement - as no competant leader would either.

Five years in Solitude would be enough, I think. Especially if he had to be in the Blue Palace and listen to Elisif's whining.

Agreed. Also, the last part is why I have a hard time going with the Stormcloaks. I like Balgruuf and Elisif, so I'm not going to go against them in the war. Maybe if Ulfric gave me a fun quest to do that wasn't tied to the Civil War, I'd like him more, but the only quest I can do on behalf of the Jarl of Eastmarch (Blood on the Ice) doesn't even involve Ulfirc in any way, shape, or form.
