I'd love to play it on PC but I don't think I can afford the upgrade so I'll just play it on my PS3. I just hope I'll have plenty of people to play with online cuz all those other ignorant gamers will be playing Call of Duty and Halo.

Yes and no. It is going to be ported onto the 360 from the PS3 yet the both will look completely similar but Crytek is saying if you have a REALLY great PC that can run the game on High or Very High it will look way better then 360 and PS3.

But the article I read today from a recent twitter post on Crysis says they where making all console versions and PC Medium settings as close as can be while keeping the specs of a Very High PC over all three.

Yeah I went and bought a PS3 tonight with a nice 1920x1080 24 in gaming monitor. Very pleased so far. Now I just need Crysis 2

Just becuase the monitor is 1080P doesnt mean the game is running at 1080P resolution

Consoles cannot render in true 1080P just so you know... It is just upscaled low-res frames.

Pc most defiantly. Cant work out for the life of me those controller things that consoles have.

Wrong. The game is designed on the PC and automatically ported to either console. No console version is a port of the other.

Just because i only own playstation 3 don't mean im any less hardcoe then a pc gamer so stop hating on us consoles & give us the recolonization console gamers deserve.

+1. However, it is a well known fact that this console generation is getting very outdated. You can be a hardcoe gamer on any platform, it is just more common on the PC because of the easy accessibility of leagues, dedicated servers, and the amount of money it costs.

By the way, if you don't play in a league, you arent hardcoe. There ARE leagues for consoles, but they are few and far between.
