Which multiplayer game has the best community and the most r

Journey. No game has ever made me give a [censored] about xXxdudebro420xXX like Journey has. It's unique, it's memorable, and down right heartwarming. Everyone I've played with has been polite and genuinely fun to play with.

Team Fortress 2 and Minecraft both have a great community. Well, most of the time at least...

Call of Duty has the most polite, mature, and the most heart-warming community ever.

indeed and not a single cheesy player to be found...it's quite pleasant to play CoD online, especially how much they praise mothers on there :P

I'd personally say Bethesda has the best community.

The Halo community has a few shining gems, but the majority are idiots who scream for what they want in the game, regardless if it svcks so [censored] badly. (Tornado gun, anybody?)

The Gears community's okay, but I've not had enough experience with it to say so conclusively.

I've yet to meet a half-decent human being on COD.

With Skyrim, forums like CD, Fallout/TES Series, and the lore forums are all nice. However, the general forums for absolutely every game on this website are atrocious.
Indeed, I blame Skryims popularity. The ES Forums went to [censored] after it came out. If I want to talk about Skyrim or any Elder Scroll, I usually stick around the UESP or Imperial Library Forums

Anyway for the best community? Im gonna agree with everyone on TF2, but gonna surprise some people by saying in my experience Minecraft is the worst! Though Ive never played Halo or Cod

Why are all these people saying Dark souls, there community FEEDS on the suffering of others....
Dark Souls has a very strong and reliable community.
Killing, suffering, (and even trolling to a degree) are a part of the game. It's what you sign-up for when agree to play online  Which adds a lot of replayability, skill, and entertainment.

But WHY are people saying Elder Scrolls games??? Did no one read the title of the thread?
First of all, it's not multiplayer.
Secondly, there is no online gameplay.
The forums are full of great/helpful people, but that has nothing to do with multiplayer experiences in the games.

Aren't there multiplayer mods?

Yeah, and they always show their appreciation for you in the form of compliments. Best community ever.

There's been a few attempts made, but as far as I know none of them have gone very well.

All things beeing equal, the smaller the community / game - the better* it is.

This is my experience times and again. I'm sure there are severeal factors, the niche itself beeing one, but It's easier to knit people together with a smaller pack. As well as there beeing less people to encounter, for better or worse.

My first MMO was Anarchy Online back in 2001. Having mostly played AO as my MMO back then (with some EVE betas and such) - switching to WoW blew my mind with stupidity :D

*As in general chat and the surface having less [censored]. Throw more people into the bowl and you're bound to get more ("perma-" and "stand-in-") [censored]s.

While what you are saying is very true for the most part, the people that don't act like that have been super helpful to me. I even once had an Invader come outside of that large cathedral that you fight the gargoyle boss on. The invader not only didn't attack me, but he dropped quite a few great weapons including the Zweihander and a few humanities because he could tell by my running away I was a noob lol. He then messaged me that he was going to leave and lay a white sign instead, but when when I summoned him he told me to stay put and he went and killed every enemy inside the church haha.

To top it off as we got near the fog gate another invader came and the first guy hid behind a pillar. When the second threat came my new companion cartwheeled out from the pillar and riposted the invader's attack and attacked him a few times and sent him running away and summoning himself away. He even gave me a few tips after the boss fight on how to time shield swings better for ripostes. ^_^ I have had a pretty decent amount of similar things happen in this game too which sadly has been much more than every other online game I have tried.

Haha one time a summon dropped 10 titanite slabs for me too. That was pretty awesome.

As far as I know it was pretty much the same thing when Oblivion and Fallout 3 came out. I know for a fact it was the case with Fallout 3, but Oblivion is really hearsay. Maybe Morrowind, but I dunno.

Came in to say Demon and Dark Souls.

Props to TC for not letting that slip the original post. Comment system allows for plenty of humor, pranks, and genuinely helpful information, and there is almost always someone (myself included at times) waiting for the chance to help you get past a tough boss ([censored] you Ornstein and Smough)

Maybe they had calmed down when I joined up then, I had an account before this one in about 2008-9ish and remember being impressed by how good these forums were, now I cant look at the skyrim ones without

Demon's Souls doesn't have servers anymore, so it no longer counts unless we are talking about fandom. Remember how all my messages in Demon's Souls were just joke ones. I would say every enemy was a cute enemy, for one. I did give helpful ones, but I liked giving joke ones in hopes that someone would get a laugh out of them.

1st Halo game on PC. Right there is pretty much the majority of the good Halo community. The rest I know are on DeviantART and those are the artist. I've seen some pretty awesome fan art of the Halo series.

I'm just glad that there some left.

Honestly, I quite Waypoint nearly a year ago, can't stand the place. And the mods were no good, either.

The Minecraft community is pretty awesome. The Elder Scrolls has a nice community too, based what I've seen from the forums.
Minecraft community? I wouldn't call tyrannical 10 year olds nice company. I'd say the Mass Effect community is good most of the time when they're not arguing about which character is better than the other and when they aren't constantly talking about the ending. The multiplayer community is very good however, as the multiplayer is all co-op and people are quite helpful.

The worse communities I have seen belongs to Minecraft on the PC and COD on consoles. But, as a long-time console player, I have generally found the PC community to be much nicer than the console counterpart for the same game.

Worst Community is Halo community. Horrid people really. Why I love it so much
Most RTS Communities are pretty bad too.

Best one is probably TF2. There is hate in every community, but the one in TF2 comes in when there is a griefer in the game
