Which Skyrim Political Figures Resemble Real Life Ones?

Post » Tue Oct 30, 2012 10:15 pm

Which Skyrim Political Figures (Ulfric, Tulluis, the Jarls) resemble the running mates or other political figures the most? Would Ulfric be Obama or maybe Tulluis as Romney? Explain why...

Try not to get in a political debate :/

Ulfric kinda reminds me of Ned Stark, but only in appearance.

Ned Stark
I hope you are aware that Nedd Stark isn't a real life person.

Please at least attempt to stay on topic. Maybe destiny can be avoided.

Hard to say, in all honesty.

We haven't seen all of their stories- or what they do if they get a hold of all the power they want. Ulfric, for instance, could be either a Lenin or a Washington, as of the Civil War, he could go either way.

And it's a bad idea to try and have us compare fictional political figures to those that will be voted on. That's high-octane flamebait right there.

Ulfric Stormcloak, easy. Hitler. Supreme race (Nords) great public speaker and has managed to conceal his racism with the reasoning that "Skyrim belongs to the Nords" and that he is just fighting to reclaim Skyrim. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. It is not very detailed and I am sure there are holes in my argument, so feel free to show me how I may or may not be wrong.

Ulfric Stormcloak, easy. Hitler. Supreme race (Nords)

There is no evidence that he believes this, or that his rebellion has anything to do with some kind of Nordic "racial supremacy."

has managed to conceal his racism with the reasoning that "Skyrim belongs to the Nords"

This might be relevant if it actually were a Stormcloak rallying cry, but unfortunately for people who like to use it as "evidence" of something uniquely nefarious with regard to Ulfric, it's not. It's something Nords say. NORDS. Not Stormcloaks. Bandits say it, members of the Companions - many of whom will tell you they don't give a damn about the war - say it, your housecarls will say it if you take them into battle, hunters chasing (presumably non-Nord) deer through the woods say it.

There's no way this thread is going to stay apolitical, and since politics are not allowed, I'm locking this.
