Who doesnt actually care if they read spoilers?

I dont mind depending on the spoiler, small little things like armour types or how you start factions I dont really care if I find out about but really hate it if I accidently find the ending or a friend spoils something huge. What is your tolerance on spoilers?

Eh, I'm one of the few out there that don't mind much, however, just like with Fallout 3, I've very strictly ensured I don't see or know much about the opening of the game.
The opening is the hook, it's what svcks you in, the most memorable part of the entire experience, having that spoiled is just... wrong, you know?
But seeing screenies of armor and weapons and spells, knowing that "CERTAIN CREATURES OF GERMANIC MYTH" will definitely be in the game, stuff like that, just gets me more excited for it.

By the time I reach the specific spoiler part, I've most likely forgotten all about it.

Then again, there's absolutely nothing like the maiden playthrough. Like reading a fantasy novel for the first team, without prior knowledge. Story-wise, I can't stand spoilers. But watching a stream with someone clearing a dungeon, or doing some random stuff? Doesn't bother me.

I want to know about features so I know what to expect, specially with TES games. Say I had only realized that we now have even less armor slots when I played the game on ffriday, I'd feel really angry and prolly wouldn't enjoy the game. Now that I've know about it for quite a while I've learned to live with it.

I don't want sotry spoilers if I can avoid it though

Wait until someone posts the ending, then you'll care.

This is pretty much exactly how I feel about spoilers. The opening to games is important to me, I almost watched the opening scene for skyrim last week :S was a very close one the video didnt say anything about skyrim

I don't mind spoilers if I want to take the initiative to find them, watching videos, reading articles etc, it's all technically spoilers.

However i CAN"T F'ing STAND having them forced down my throat because some little mud crab excrement thinks its cool / funny to go posting them in topic titles.

I hate spoilers. It's like reading the last twenty pages of a novel first.. Why would I want to do that?

I like using this forum to kill some time and read other fans Skyrim related talk but I really can't stand how people are posting spoilers in this section when there is clearly a separate forum for that. :brokencomputer:

What is your tolerance on spoilers?

In Skyrim General? I have 0 Tolerance for Spoilers.

I kind of feel sorry for those who do post spoilers in here, being suspended and all. I almost shed a tear entering in the number of days they get off of the boards.

I do. I want the experience to be 100% my own, and not a recount of someone else's. I've even gone so far as to only watch the demo one time when I was at Quakecon this year. A purely organic experience just seems to be more appreciable to me.

Certain things I want to know, certain things I don't want to know.

I usually don't care. But if it's in the wrong section then it annoys me.

I despise spoilers. I would actually like to be surprised and discover things for my self in the game and I'm sure many would agree with me. Bethesda has done a wonderful job of wetting our lips and it is just shameful that fellow gamers like G4tv, Machinima and the [censored]s who leaked the game are throwing spoilers left and right.

I just don't give a [censored], the plot for these games is usually absolute tripe anyway, still enjoy the games but for different reasons. So yeah. Not that I think its cool to post spoilers in the general forum, I know it annoys alot of people and its not cool, its just I'm not bothered by them. (Though I'd best add that be for someone starts whinging on at me.)

I'm glad someone posted this because now I don't feel like such a troll for posting what I have to say. Just because you ( the reader) feel comfortable knowing things about the game, doesn't mean others do. I have spoken to a mod about this because I think it's unfair that my game should be spoiled because I click on what I think is an innocent thread only to have the end of the game spoiled for me. It happened in Vegas which really pissed me off. It's disrespectful. Either put it in the right forum place or stick a spoiler warning up so people at least have a chance to avoid it. Once you know something you cant unknow it. If people choose to go and look that's up to them. /rant.

Disclaimer: I apologise if I have overstepped the mark but this is twice now and its getting a bit out of hand. The mods don't seem to be doing anything about it which I understand they are busy but come on....

I've watched all 17 gameplay videos posted of Skyrim. I have no issues with spoilers. Same way as I'll watch people live streaming the game on my 2nd pc while I play on my other on Friday. Games of this type can be played in so many different ways.

I have a pretty high tolerance. I just don't want to know any story-specifics or read any spoilers about major quest lines. Aside from that, I don't care :)

What I don't understand though is why
Spoiler
it wasn't considered a spoiler when a certain feature was 'confirmed' to NOT be in the game, but when it was later revealed that the feature IS in the game it became a spoiler.

Let's face it the really big spoiler was released by bethesda some time ago. Without giving too much away, it's a creature that is featured heavily in the main quest. I for one would have loved to have been attacked from above with no idea it was coming (or if the quest warned me about them, not having seen footage). When I first heard about the game and watched the initial footage, I started kicking myself. I know it's a big selling point and all.

Compared to what's been officially announced, the spoilers posted up here are nothing, so I barely care. Still worth ignoring though.
