Hey guys,

How many other people here will have to wait until Monday to receive their copy of Skyrim?
My location means I wont receive it until Monday or Tuesday.

I have to wait till at least Wednesday.

Ordering a CE from America (I live in Australia). I'm not too bothered, I'll make the time up very quick.

Glad I'm not the only one. I ordered express post, but by the time it ships and spends two days on the road It'll be Tuesday when I see it I reckon.

Also in Australia here.

Yeh, the great thing is it releases on a Friday (sarcasm).

If it released on a Monday we might have seen it the next day, rather than 4/5 days late.

I'm getting mine shipped to my home address, too. It's shipped out on 11/11/11, of course. The shipping method I chose has a 1 day processing and 3 days shipping. A Sunday is in the middle of that, too, so all told I'm expecting my game on 11/16.

Some of these die-hards on here will probably have beaten the game by then.

I got release-day shipping on my order, so my heart goes to you brave soul who has to endure 3 days more without Skyrim than us.

Didn't anyone tell you?
You don't 'beat' an Elder Scrolls game. You venture through it and invest countless hours.

Me. :cold:

But not for Skyrim. My damn laptop is being repaired right now. (Or was, the tech is shipping it back to me tomorrow.) There's a slight chance I can get it on Saturday if I'm able to talk FedEx up, but I'm not holding my breath. It's going to cause me physical pain to pick up Skyrim without being able to play it.

I actually paid for over night shipping, but due to the release date, that wont happen. Though, if I didn't get over night I'd have to wait until Friday next week.

Same here. The guy at Best Buy customer services said there's a chance that they'll ship them a day early so they arrive on release, but they did the same for Battlefield 3 and I still got it a day later. I wish they hadn't finalised my order, so I could cancel it and just pre-order it in-store. Hopefully Canada Post will stil deliver it on Saturday, which I heard they do with some packages.

I'm actually contemplating running down to the store, pre-ordering it then return the shipped copy with the receipt. But that's so much damn work...

I ordered from newegg, got free 3-day shipping. It's still 'on hold', so I guess they don't even have it yet, and I might have to wait a very, very long time.

THe place is just so damn far. I mean, it's a whole 20 minutes away!
Seriously though, if it doesn't ship early tomorrow, I might do it. I just wish I had class at my school's downtown campus tomorrow. It would make the whole process so much simpler

I got it ordered for same day shipping, so I'm expecting it to arrive late on the eleventh. I would've rather had school that day, so I won't be sitting around waiting for it to arrive, but thats how it goes. Fortunately I just go LOTR War in the North, and I'm not usually a fan of overdone violence, but chopping the legs off of an Orc with an axe is somehow amazing at releasing stress. So I guess I'll just be doing that until it arrives. Or just sitting next to the mail box reading one of the 20 books i check out from the library intending to read but never get around to.

I'm overseas for work so wont be playing until I get home Sunday night. :flamethrower: The Mrs will pick up the pre-order, so it will be waiting though. With hindsight I shouldn't of pre-ordered and just bought it at the nearest game shop so that I could play it on the flights home. :tes: In fact maybe i'll just buy another copy here in Australia so that I can do that. Can always gift it to a friend.
