Who else is sick of this?

I am sorry for pissing off the moderators further but they are part of the problem when it comes to users being angry about PS3 DLC content. There is no reason for the Mods to come into the pages started by users who are looking for others on common ground in terms of how sad, angry, annoyed, and plain disappointed they are about the DLC's not being available on their platform. I think the mods have no right to come in and shut the threads down let alone come in, get pissed, and just tell us to post elsewhere.

This being the common B.S. that users are told every time they have something to say about this situation:

"Discuss this http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1421229-dragonborn-dlc-exclusivity-2/in a civil manner or not at all."

Well I ask you to please stop feeding us the B.S. and then maybe we can start to forgive! As far as most are concerned the moderators may as well be in with the developers. Especially with comments like this that are always given when someone wants to speak their mind. If it is your job to shut down the thread then at least make it seem that you give a [censored] about our plight. All you have to do is say something like "I am sorry that this is a problem and you are unhappy with it but could you please post here." It's not that hard to give a damn about the customers who are unhappy is it?

I have yet to understand why YOU BETHESDA seem to have the hardest time making your fans happy when YOU screw up. It is not our fault that we are unhappy there was something done to make it that way. Who made it that way you ask? Why YOU BETHESDA that's who! So please tell me why we angry fans are to be blamed for YOUR mistakes and treated like we are worthless, annoying children who want a toy they can't have but will not stop begging for it? I am not going to take any more of this treatment and neither should anyone else.(and those who have the thought that I am going way over the top with this please keep it to yourself because I am in no mood for someone to talk me down when there is plenty of justifiable reason for this post)

P.S.
As always it would be [censored] amazing if anyone were to do anything other than shut down this post. Maybe I and everyone else could get a nice comment from a developer but that is a snowballs chance in hell.

i think whats most irritating for me is 'no DLC for PS3' threads are all getting funneled into either the 'no dawnguard for ps3' or (lately) 'zomfg dragonborn will now be xbox exlusive too' threads

The exclusivity period of DG or DB is not actually the same issue the ps3 stil doesn't get any DLC. Especially for people just popping in here, in the PS3 forums, to inquire about what is up with DLC for the PS3.

i think most all of the moderators are shamelessly 'in bed' with bethesda - I mean they are moderating the bethesda forums, so yeah, they are going to do their bidding. But I also don't think the moderators are taking any pleasure in the way PS3 is being treated by Bethesda.

If you think about it, the moderators have to do all the nasty stuff for bethesda while not being able to control their own destiny. Summer has no means to go rap Pete HInes on the head and say "disseminate some worthwhile update or go find a new job"

While I agree with you, the mods are still simply doing their jobs  Don't get mad at Summer while it could have been worded a bit better but still xP Get mad at the higher ups who are just sitting silently u.u
We just want answers and until then the rage will continue on here. Depending on the answer we receive regarding the DLC the rage will either stop, and suddenly everyone will be happy and love Bethesda again. Or, well I don't want to think about what the forums will look like if we get a bad answer. If that happens I fear for the mods xD

Perhaps if the mods push for answers as well, we can get some

Yeah seriously, they have no idea what PR is.

@CyanLion
No screw that, I don't care about "doing their jobs", Bethesda has an ethical responsibility to provide the same gaming experience to PS3 users as they do for other platforms, but that doesn't stop them from screwing us over. The moderators could do one of two things 1) be helpful and curb the anger, or 2) make it 10x worse by being complete jerks to the ps3 community. It seems they are choosing the later.

I understand that you can't have 100 new threads a day being started about one topic, BUT you shouldn't funnel them all into one thread that is way too diluted and really not on the topic of the point you were trying to make, PLUS we wouldn't have to start 100 new threads a day if they would simply give us an update on what is going on.

Speak with your wallets, just don't buy another Bethesda game.

I really don't think they care about PS3 users money. They always gave Xbox exclusivity. They must see the PS3 users as a surplus or something.

Yes I do agree with others that the mods are just doing this because they are told but I am trying to stress that it may be their job but they could at least show some sympathy. If the mods are unhappy about it then do something about it to help us out. Plea with the developers and try to get them to say something. As a mod you must have some way to give feedback to the Bethesda higher ups so take some pressure off yourselves and have the developers chime in once in a while so we have some information to go off of. It is obvious the devs have almost no presence here so maybe as a mod you could help get our voice heard among the developers more frequently. If you don't have that ability; which i doubt you don't have at least some method of conveyance to Bethesda higher ups; then say so and make it clear that you wish you could do something about it. We all just want someone to show they care and show it in a non condescending way. I had no intention of singling that moderator out by any means it was just an example I happened across. Just about any moderator post on the same subject would have helped me convey my opinion. So; my apologies to summer.

For a laugh I went into the XBOX and PC issues forums (did not want any spoilers) the list of problems is scarry. I am glad they didn't release the DLC for PS3 please Beth work on it to make it an exilarating experience not the nightmare XBOX/PC is having.

I fully understand that is one of the few ways that we can get Bethesda to care about their product quality but at the same time Skyrim is one of; if not thee; best games of all time. I would much rather have this content and pay for it; at a reduced price; than not get it at all. I had a lot of fun with Skyrim despite all of its issues. It would be great to see Bethesda rise up out of this disaster and have this entire scenario go down in history as one of the greatest game developing come backs of all time. Bethesda has an opportunity to make a lot of people happy who are currently very angry and upset.

Yeah but it is obvious that they don't care about their reputation, so long as M$ keeps paying their bills, who cares right?

Oh yeah don't get me wrong, it's a great game. I've also got it on the PC so I've played that one more, and with the third party patches and mods installed it runs a treat. It's just a shame I try to start a new game on the PS3 and it's so... bler :(

I'm not going to say your wrong, I even think that way sometimes. If something is to be done however then we need to keep on pushing, keep on voicing our thoughts and convey more than that. In philosophical terms that is a very nihilistic type of thought; you may as well throw your hands up and say "I give up". Bethesda's reputation is whats on the line here. If they can't fix it or don't want to they may as well kiss all future business with Sony goodbye; at least if I were Sony that's how I would feel if Micro$oft's business was enough for Bethesda then why keep giving them a licence to produce games on my consoles?

Please use our open thread for this discussion. We are working hard to keep the forum running smoothly despite people's anger and more and more threads about the same thing does nothing to garner the answers you are looking for.

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1421249-ps3-release-for-dawnguard-33/

BTW, the moderators want answers too, but we are here to keep the forum running smoothly and we don't make the rules, only enforce them.
