Ok, who here CAN wait for the beta... if we get the keys...

Post » Tue Mar 23, 2010 3:10 pm

Well, if you look, you'll see that I have pretty much done nothing over this last month. I am just waiting for news on C2, because I want to buy the game (Unless they add uneeded content giving it a rating in which I will not buy the game). Beta or no beta, I WANT THIS GAME.

Anyone else?

Beta or no beta, I WANT THIS GAME.

Same here, I go down the store each week sometimes twice, just to see If the game can be pre-ordered yet, so far, sadly not.

I dont do online pre-order,,,,, prefer to get the hardcopy in hand, but I will have Crysis two on my shelf. :D

Yeah, i mean the Beta isn't everything. Not that i wouldn't love to play on the beta. I love the whole idea of Crysis. The nanosuit. is brilliant.

When the first game was being developed and Crysis was being talked about. I thought it sounded as interesting as any other game would. The only screens i saw were the face models. As cool as they looked this didn't grip me. It was when i saw the first nanosuit trailer. That is what got me! I love the story, the characters (and the guns) and i will be getting this game.

I agree with Guss600, i would prefer a hard copy.

It would be nice to play it before hand and have an idea of how my system performs while running Crysis 2.

Beta or no beta, i want this game. :)

However, i think a multiplayer beta is necessary for the success of Crysis 2.

And like the rest of you, i prefer a hard copy of my game. :P

Crysis 2 stands for awesome singleplayer and that's why people will buy it. The MP is just a gimmick for most people.

Agreed. I look at multiplayer as an added incentive in a single player of Crysis' caliber.

I can assume the people have been chosen, but I doubt Crytek will tell who until a later date. (This is all an assumption, so I could be wrong).

For now though, at this time, you're pretty late.

The beta release is still to be announced. However, beta signups were back when this website relaunched (June 14), and have now closed.

Definitely agree, only reason i would want a beta for is to see how much of a hit my current system takes, whereas i am overhauling it in the next few months.

And agreeing with everybody, a hard-copy of the game is much more appealing. (:

I personally don't think there will be a beta of this game. And the moment this games gets put on steam the same way warhead did I'm getting this.

If the beta becomes public, the yes, most likely we'll get a few num-nuts hating on it. But if it's going to be a closed Beta, then I can assume Crytek will allow those who are participating to post in a secret area of this website.

It will allow those who participated to give some constructive criticism, and the staff involved will send it back to Crytek etc. So nobody will comment on it. Not unless you put it up on Youtube. :)

I'm not sure if it's going to be a public or closed Beta, but if it's going to be waves of Beta's, I can assume it may be a public beta.
