Who remembers Jiub?

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 1:18 am

Now we can't forget our old dark elf friend Jiub who put down the cliff racers. Oh he was also the guy you see first when you start off in morrowind. This guy to me was awesome. It's too bad you don't ever run into him anywhere in morrowind. Anyone else remember Jiub?

When I've read the title I was surpised that we can meet Jiub in Dawnguard. Do we really meet him?

I recall someone posting for bethesda wanting the morrowind dark elf voice back for all dark elves. Meh...Idk if it would sound compatible with their species in Skyrim or in oblivion.

Yes it would! Didn't watch the E3 demos for either Oblivion or Skyrim? And who exactly from Bethesda was supposed to have said this anyway, and when?

Anybody who has played Morrowind remembers him.
He is Jiub.
It is impossible to forget him.

:) How so? Just from the lore that you've read or have you seen videos of MW?

I loved his inclusion and remember him fondly for waking me from my vision sent from Azura upon our arrival in Seyda Neen.

Seeing as he's one of the only characters I met in Morrowind (Oblivion newb), it's kind of hard to forget him. It kind of blew my mind where, when, and how he ended up in the special place though.

He is talked about frequently in TES related places, plus whenever anything related to MW is mentioned his image for the Start of the game is always shown

i thought it was cool for bethesda to throw ol' players a bone and bring back the old dark elf, i really liked his quest to find his opus, well i liked reading his book actually finding the pages was a pain in the ass.

I haven't gotten that far in the DLC yet, but I am eagerly awaiting my reunion with Jiub.
