Who use crosshair?

I always turn it off just to make the game as realistic as possible. I only do this in crysis because the game's very realistic, not only because of the graphics but also because of the greatly done animations on your character.

I like the crosshair turned off in single player, but not multiplayer (that's a good way to loose terribly).

I don't think i can live without a crosshair :) Even in older games like day of defeat when the sniper rifle would have no crosshair unscoped i used to put bluetac on the screen :)

I might be OK in Crysis though because of the weapon sights.

actually, If I really needed a crosshair (take the minigun for example), I use the laser attachment. Which is why weapon customization on the fly was so helpful and fun to use!

i play on delta, there is no crosshair. it's the most realistic difficulty setting, i wonder why you don't use it already if you're into realism. you grow with the enemy AI resulting in a more intense and almost never frustrating experience. it's what i tell anyone who critisizes crysis saying it has shallow gameplay - on delta it's one of the most immersive games ever.

The problem with delta difficulty is that it takes out the fun of being a supersoldier. You die faster than the enemy and the only option you're left with is cloak and snipe, where's the fun in that?

Yeah, I don't feel like I'm wearing a nanosuit when the bad guy's polyester stops more bullets either. Its like being superman during puberty before his Kryptogen hormone level stabilizes, and going up against a Kryptonite golem.

I have proposed a solution multiple times, and its really simple.

Enemies can hear cloak within 20 meters and starts a search.

Enemies can hear and/or see cloak within 10 meters and engage the enemy.

Quite simple, really. It would force you to use cloak mode sparingly, and to gain advantages with the other suit modes. Not only that, but for Crysis 2 you are fighting against soldiers now trained to see cloak mode, so detecting it would make sense. My all time #1 complaint about Crysis SP was the cloak mode not being detected.

Not only that, but the AI should go down in only 5 shots. With Crysis, it's practically half a clip, which forces everyone to change the firing mode to semiautomatic and aim for the head.

actually you CAN go all supersoldier on them, you do have to use cloak mode a lot more than on lesser difficulties but storming through a camp taking people out in close combat is possible and VERY fun. and i don't think you die faster than the enemy, i think using armor mode it still takes more bullets to any region of your body to kill you than to kill enemies. have no proof though.

I definately do turn it off while campaigne. But online, you can't and there is no way to play multiplayer with out crosshair.
