For those of you who don't know, Darkness Falls was a MASSIVE public dungeon in DAoC, that all 3 realms had access to, and is was basically a huge PvP dungeon, with epic rewards...

There was a seperate entrace into DF from every one of the 3 realms, and vendors near each entrance, that offered insanely good gear that you could buy with a seperate currency that you got ONLY from Mobs in DF. There were Epic bosses, and insane PvP battles, awesome raids and amazing drops, Darkness Falls had it all. Not to mention it was beautifully done, sort of looked like a purpleish underworld.

So this thread is to bring back a little DF nostalgia, but also to gather some support for a big DF-like dungeon if Zenimax hasn't implimented it yet. Make it in the first expansion, if nothing else!

Also, obviously if anyone has any news on them making a dungeon like this in ESO, would love to hear it...

Sure why not i love well balanced PVP and i'm a svcker for good rewards/loot

i honestly dont know how it was done in DAOC but this in a working state would make good for endgame content.

Having played DAoC for years, I would love to see a Darkness Falls in ESO. With Matt Firor at the helm, my gut feeling is that we will see a DF style pvp dungeo in ESO.

if ESO did what made DAoC good there would be a very dedicated fan base to the game and would be a hell of a game

If they do I just hope it is a huge stone walled traditional dungeon, not the open aired type. I want a maze of dungeons like passages like a true dungeon, not these linear one-way things most MMOs are calling dungeons these days.

This would be easy as hell to implement without conflicting with the Lore in any way. Oblivion. And the gates of madness styled gates that let you access them.
