i need to find a merchant who has lots of money so i can sell all my unwanted stuff, all the traders i know dont always have enough for expensive items.

You could always just keep it in the storage boxes at your 38 apartment, or sell it to the terminal there, it usually has a bit of cash.

The Gun Runners might be your best bet

What clvl are you? Merchant caps go up at certain level points so if you're still pretty low level, just hang on to things until later. But yeah, Gun Runners is one of the better ones that's easily accessible at all times. I think Contreras in McCarran (if you don't turn him in) and the NCR in the Hoover Dam eventually gets quite a few but don't remember exactly.

Sometimes you just have to take a bit of a loss, or keep it for collecting/later goofing off.

I use Old Lady Gibson to sell off general tat.

I use the lady for a few reasons:

1) I live in Novac so its close to home.
2) She repairs my Recon armour.
3) Her 8000 cap limit gets added after dealing every 3 days or so, so if you keep dealing with her, her caps stash can get very high. 30k caps I've seen her reset to in the later levels, so if you can always rely on her to buy all your crap.

I've always picked on GunRunners. They buy everything. But that's nice to know about Old Lady Gibson.
