WHOOPS - CONTROL ERROR

Slightly embarrassing problem, I was changing my controls and hit escape without realising I had inadvertently removed a key to menu.

So basically my menu button is unassinged and I have no way of assigning it as you have to be playing to get the menu up and obviously I can no longer do that LMAO.

Plese help....

That's ingenious. Bethesda designers should definitely attend some Human-Computer Interaction lectures at their local university....

I think you could assign keys directly from the console, but I'm not entirely sure. Lets wait for some of the more savvy folks to drop by.

Okay a friend helped me..

There is a txt file in the steam folder that contains a file called "ControlMap_Custom" I loaded this but it was in binary but he told me to delete it and BINGO everything is good again.

BTW Please could you delete this ;)
