Why are Achievements still disabled when the console is enabled? Doesn't really make any since to me since all cheats where disabled with
the first release patch. I thought the console was a tool for trouble shooting or to load special rage configs if there needed to play the game.

I mean come on id fix this problem. I just spent over 100 hours testing different configs settings plus playing to try and get this game to run
on a laptop with Intel HD Graphic. Only had one achievement I wanted to complete and decided I'd use this laptop to do it with since I was
already working with trying to get the best possible FPS from this integrated Intel HD Graphic chip. Even had to go back a couple times
and start from a saved game because I realized I had missed a playing card.

I mean come on why is this still impaled if you have already made it where no cheats can be used?
What other reason would this still be in place? Personally I can't see any reason for it to cause locks to Achievements now.
Please enlighten me why its still in use? Or FIX it in the next patch, what a waste of my time.

Edit: BTW it didn't popup until I picked up the very last playing card, so this made it a real PITA to find out. That far into the game.
I have all other achievements except 5 and 3 of those are all online witch I could care less about getting, plus there is no one
that even plays this online any more, so your not likely to get those anyways.

I been gaming since I was 24, I was born 10/13/1955 and id games "DOOM Quake" where some of the first 3D games I played on a PC.
I've followed id for may years and have every game id has ever put out but with mistakes like this it could be the last game I ever buy from id.
First mistake was leaving cheats in the game at release , 2nd was not fixing this problem after they were removed.

This is absurd - I've been using the console for a long time, and I've always been able to get achievements.

Well I was able to get them, but that was before enabling the console.
I had already pretty much gotten everyone, but that was before I had any use for the console.
Another words it had never been used when I got 45 of the 50 Achievements.
I had only enabled it on this rig so I could quickly load configs from with in game for testing.
I did patch backwards to test the cheats in the first release version of rage, but not on this laptop.
So I don't see why that should effect what I do on this computer.

Just to show how slow it works on this laptop it took me over 12 hours from start of Subway Town till I picked up the 54th playing card.
On my normal PC I could have did the whole game from start to finish in the same 12 hours or less.
In side area its not so bad, but out side frame rate can drop to 2 or 3 FPS and is why I was working on with different configs trying to
improve the frame rate in those area's.

Here is a test I would like to try if anyone has a saved check point at the start of Subway Town and has 43 playing cards plus has never used the console.
If I could get someone to upload that check point I could then add it to my list of checkpoints to see if I still run into this same problem.

Files for this should be located in: C:\Users\"here would be your login name"\Saved Games\id Software\Rage\base\savegame
Mine looks like this: C:\Users\TheWolf\Saved Games\id Software\Rage\base\savegame this is for Windows 7 location.
