Why am I so bad?

I feel like stamina is giving people the most problems out there. It's somewhat foreign to us as its own stat and also more subjective in how much you need than the other 2. In a little time it will be second nature to us and we will have guides, but all I know it is important unless you are like a pure mage.

And thats why i do mage/light armor, sword and shield combination :) but its really hard sometimes, currently trying to push through a draugr scourge at level 11, this thing... jesus christ its shouting at me and summoning a humongous frost atronach that makes my powerful and beautiful flame atronach seem so worthless *sadface* but i will kill this thing no mater how many times i have to die!!! maybe i just need to draw it into a more open space so i can range attack it a bit more thats how i killed it last time.

Reroll as in restart the game?

lol ye... I would...
do keep in mind, that the difficulty I play in is ruthless and unforgiving of less than optimal skill leveling, but you may get away with it just fine on the lower setting (/shrug)

ps: a friend just msn me saying that its also nice to "tunnel" groups of enemies together (in a door or corridor) and using the special 2 hander perk side attack, that gives you a cleave/aoe power attack... he says that with enough stamina he can get 2-3 mobs together :)

This is also a useable tactic in real life mind you ;)
I got the draugr scourge, my trusty beloved flame atronach saved me :hugs:

i summoned it, and found a spot the draugr couldn't reach and as it kept shouting at me and throwing spells at me i kept dodging while my atronach killed it slowly. then it ran out of mana and i joined the atronach in killing it with my bow since i too ran out of mana a bit too fast. (no mana enchantments yet)′

it actually tried to dodge but couldn't doge both me and the atronach and sometimes got confused and just stood still. its own frost atronach didn't have any ranged abilities to aid him it seemed, range wins once again :)

Yea I'll pass on restarting this character. I'll just do better on my next character. I'm going to switch between this char and my new one. And this one is mostly for real RP so it's not that bad.

Ah heres an example why you should read books. i just recently read a book called the wolf queen i think, it improved my speech, it wasn't long but it was highly enjoyable about a woman considered the most evil ruler of all times, queen potema of solitude daughter of pleagius septim II and mother of uriel septim III
i still remember the story lightly, so i went into some cave on a quest in solitude, its called Wolfskujll cave, inside that cave i fought the beforementioned Draugr Scourge and after that hard fight i entered Wolfskull ruins and once in there i see
Spoiler
A beautiful magical light, of the conjuration type. surrounding the image of a female body. and in the background i hear necromancers chanting "We summon potema the wolf queen"

Now i know exactly what is going on here, but if i wouldn't have read that book i wouldn't have the slightest clue what is happening in here.. just some
Spoiler
Necromancers summoning some random wolf queen
but after reading this short but enjoyable book, its made my gameplay experience a several times deeper just at this moment and i feel highly encouraged to stop this event from ever happening since
Spoiler
the wolf queen was no pushover and if she'd revive i would not enjoy fighting her armies of Daedra and Undeads.

I also learned the location of the thieves guild by reading the real barneziah v1-5, this i read in oblivion (but part 5 in skyrim since i bounced on it by chance)
the books are well written. and fun to read.

You could turn your difficulty down below adept (medium), when I fight dragons at low levels find an object to hide behind to block the fire, when the dragon lands shoot a few ranged attacks at them and then retreat when they use a breath attack, use healing spells if you get hit, one the dragon falls you can simply come out and smack it till it dies. I beat one at level 4 this way, so I'm fairly sure it'd work for you.

And for a reason not to cheat.
Spoiler
if you read the above spoilers. i hear the wolf queen potema start shuoting "yes summon me!" etc. and those words start striking fear into me.

If i was in god mode, i would purely not give a damn, since i wont die anyways.

Ah i'm so completely in love with this game and expert difficulty, and my flame atronach which i'd marry if she wasn't summoned. always saving me in the nick of time, as a draugr is about to deliver me a final blow he gets a fireball in his temple and gets thrown off a wall.

As multiple opponents charge at me i summon her to deal as much damage in every attack as i do with my power attack, and maybe even more than that.

and then when finally out of combat she just carelessly dances around.

i should take videos of this epicness.

I just picked up some Elven light armor. I will see how high I can try and rank it up.

Well, another hint, not sure if it has already been told, but:

I use a sword and magic. So, you'll ask: Where is your defense?

A: Heavy armor... Good, and enchanted armor and amulets

Archery + sneak is OP against anything but dragons. Seriously OP. You can literally clear out entire dungeons without resorting to melee 80% of the time with a companion. I initially started as a spellcaster but learned quickly that you will get mauled by casters, humanoids wielding two handed weapons, and mobs with lots of HP most of the time. If you want to use melee weapons, use a shield and be prepared to use lots of potions. Smithing will hurt you at the lower levels, you will level faster than you should be because of all the skill-ups you get from it and get destroyed. Keep any scrolls you find that have fear vs. undead mobs of higher level (tough vamps) as they will be lifesavers. Heavy armor is good but is such a pain if your a loot[censored] like me and feel the need to loot everything in sight, you will run out of room in your inventory quite fast.

Since this thread is already out. Maybe someone can help me with my build? I'm running an assassin dark elf:

-Sneak

-One handed dual of daggers

-Destruction

-Light Armor

-Archery [cause trying to backstab can be annoyingly difficult at times -.-]

-----

I buy poison so that's why I don't specialize in alchemy. Since I have so much and enough cash. I just burn my pockets buying poisons.

For my mage character I'm trying to run:

-Conjuration

-Enchanting

-Destruction

-Alteration

-Restoration

[Not going very well at all]
