Why in hell, i cant bind my weapon on the number 2 on my keyboard?

I always use 1 for pistols, 2 for shotguns/riffle and 3 for sniper riffle but in this game for some dumb reason (read: straight port) i simply cant do that.

When you guys gonna fix that?

Did you guys actually tested the pc version? When it was a good development choice to lock the number 2 on keyboard?

The 2 is used for switching ammo types. I don't think that was the best key for Obsidian to select for that but it's not a bug.

The real problem is that while you can rebind the change ammo to a different button (C in my case) the equipment quick-key is still unusable leaving you with only 7 shortcuts for your stuff. IMO that's just lazy coding. Hope a patch fixes it.

you'll probably have to wait for one of the guys over at Fallout Nexus to fix this.. seriously, i think some of the guys over on the Nexus sites have more experience then whole of Obsidian Games combined.. which is sad.. Hope Bethesda learned their lesson, and won't resort to "guys who made a game that was popular way back when, and would like to try it again"

FO3 had bugs, yes, but not as much as NV.. NV is just sad.. like a mentally handicapped child.. i feel sorry for it.

I just uploaded a temporary macro to fix this until someone with more experience can code one into the game. ;D

In most games I only use 1-5 and sometimes 6 so the macro I made just lets you use slot 8 when you press 2.
