Yeah, this is an odd and annoying one, my character is constantly emitting a swirling whitish-grey smoke effect in both first and third person, and in third person appears to be hovering about a foot off the ground; http://www.use.com/showoriginal.pl?set=7b660c125eae0adb4a3d&p=1

This appears for no apparent reason whatsoever in Blackreach, when I exit the Silent Ruin into the main area(I went back through my saves until I found one without the effect). I tried skipping back to a save before that and completing Blackreach without entering Silent Ruin, and it just happened again at the first load door I went through. Am I being thick and this is something caused by a quest item, or is it just an annoying visual bug?

have you used the elemental fury shout? it has a graphic effect similar to what you are talking about, maybe you are encountering a new bug with it?

Blackreach. What shouts have you used down there? I've encountered some very interesting persistent visual bugs when shouting in various areas of Blackreach... especially ones that affect a lot of the screen, like Aura Whisper.

I only used Unrelenting Force a couple of times, because Eola's pathing in Blackreach is idiotic and she wouldn't walk across a big, flat bridge, but that was substantially before this showed up. It better not be ruddy permanent, I can barely see in first person when I stand still.
