Why did they remove 1st person werewolf?

Post » Sat May 12, 2012 6:03 am

Damn, I finally got my werewolf. It switched me into 3rd person and I couldn't get out, thought it was a glitch at first.

This svcks, I'm sure some of you remember bloodmoon, the change in your vision and the first person claws... I can't understand why they'd do that? In bloodmoon you felt immersed in the role, here you get switched into a from-the-rear perspective... which doesn't work that great actually, I was trying to kill a smaller creature, I couldn't connect an attack for the life of me.

That is really disappointing, I was so geared to up to see how they improved on it. They got it so right in bloodmoon, and then they removed all the best parts.

If Bethesda is listening, we need a first person perspective badly. Not only is it hard to fight, but as it is, it really kills the experience.

I'm sure if they don't patch it, it will be available via mod.

I'm a console user. Just can't figure out why bethesda would make that decision. Don't get me wrong the wolves look great, but why did they try to go 3rd person action game on us? And since the world is 3D, it's easy to miss a swing when you can't control your head.

Cause Werewolves were squeezed in and should have just been DLC I would have Gladly paid for.

Because Bethesda was too occupied with adding 5 million features to Skyrim, they couldn't just concentrate on a few features and make them deep and compelling.

Seems like they rushed to release the game on 11 11 11 and have forgot or renounced to fix manythings for the sake of the "cool" date release .....
