Actually, if I recall correctly, French tourists are generally rated the lowest. Americans are generally rated as loud and boisterous, but also extremely good tippers (although there's a specific reason for that).

Even ignoring tourism, people hating Americans, not counting politically, is mostly just a media stereotype.

I don't think we can get into this WITHOUT getting into politics, as politics plays a huge part of why a lot of other countries hate the US.

Why the hell do you think? Because we jump into the fray and 200 years later we think we're the best ever, all the while our people are fat morons who sit in front of the TV all day, spouting our opinions about things we know nothing about. And we're overly patriotic for no reason other than that we're raised to be.

maybe the world don't hate Americans but America, but of course there are who hate Americans as well

1. America love to mess with other people/country affair
2. America/Americans act like goodies and other countries/peoples are baddies
3. When they want to mess with other peoples they drag everyone in their mess
4. They use everything to justify their action
5. They attack religion and people who embrace that religion, so they make everyone in that religion hate them
6. They think they always right
7. A who done wrong, B have to suffer
8. group A mess with them, B and C got conquered

This will not be easy to say without going politcal...There's numberus reasons but mostly it's when a countries over seas like the Middle East, Asia or Europe has some conflict or some problem that none of the US's buisness, our leaders usually like to poke there noses where it doesn't belong. There other reasons but with the forums rules on politics and religon debates, it's tough to list them.

Basically. It's not really Americans that people hate (if they do they are misguided because we don't make the decisions here), but America.

I honestly don't think this topic can avoid politics. Furthermore, it's a topic that invites the contemplation and iteration of negative racial/social stereotypes, which means it is too contentious for this forum. Sorry, I'm closing this.
