You're right, corporations treat customers the way customers let themselves be treated. But there are millions of customers who care enough to complain, but don't care enough to boycott.
Plain and simple, platform exclusivity has existed since the Nintendo and Sega Genesis era, and customers have tolerated it for 20 years. Customers aren't going to suddenly smarten up and stop accepting this business practice.
Simply put, gamers are willing to subject themselves to [censored] business practices because they care more about playing the games than they do about not getting ripped off and jerked around.
