I refer, of course, to NPCs. Seems like all but a few dunmer are freakishly ugly, the imperial men all look old and have really weird chisled features, bretons are entirely unremarkable save for the inability to make a PC without a freakish nose, -and somehow almost all of the non-thalmor altmer are ugly. The wood elves are an all-male species who beg the question "Why the long face?". The orcs and beast races are.... Well they're beast races and orcs, you can't really make them attractive.

Then there are the Nords and Redguards. The nords seem to be the easiest to make a non-hideous PC with and have a crap-ton of attractive NPCs. The redguard men look normal and the women are mostly hot.

...What's the deal here? Why do only the Nords and Redguards look nice?

They had to balance the graphics somehow.
