WHY U NO LET ME BE A WEREBEAR?

Post » Tue Dec 04, 2012 4:19 pm

The topic title is relating to all the potential questions and spoilerific complaints that people will have once they have time to actually play the DLC. For the benefit of the people that do not get the opportunity to actually play the game upon its release this is a message to those of you who do...please don't spoil it for the rest of them. If the questions/comment etc... is dealing with something that could be considered a spoiler then this one requests that yo wait till a dragonborn spoiler/hint discussion topic is opened up and that you only post there so as to not upset anyone who might stumble across info in the general discussion. You don't have to but being considerate of the PS3 and PC users is preferable and you would likely want them to do the same to the 360 users if they were in opposite shoes ..if they really want to be spoiled then they can simply read the spoiler section.

I was once a PS3 user and had Dawnguard spoiled completely for me because of a post by one person in the general discussion who essentially wished to discuss the story and failed to put spoiler boxes around the surprises in the DLC...the ending of dawnguard was lackluster than it probably could have been (or maybe not) simply because I happened to stumble across that. The DLC depreciates in value as the surprises in one's enjoyment of the game get taken from them.

On the flip-side of things I urge anyone who wishes to not be spoiled to stay away from the spoiler section and it would likely be in the best interest of you to stay away from the forum for the first few days since undoubtedly people are going to post in the wrong sections...

This thread doesn't really need this post but considering the amount of new people to the forum thanks to the dragonborn dlc announcement I figured a quick request and reminder wouldn't go to amiss.

note: the game has not yet released and evidence of a werebear or werebears being in the DLC is currently unconfirmed as is whether or not anyone can turn into one. That likely will not remain in question for long since the beta testers are probably itching to tell people what is and is not in the dlc.

Little intrusive title I must say..

Ok.. ummm.. Soo your original post has to do with not spoiling it but the spoil is in the intrusive title which is the first thing people see... Then at the end you unconfirm that there will not be werebears in the DLC by saying its unconfirmed.. The purpose of this thead I really do not know.. Its kinda like a shout-out that don't spoil the DLC which is the moderators job and basically say Werebears are unconfirmed..

yeah someone made a mention of that in another thread and thought it would be humorous to use one of the lines made as the topic title...realized after making it that it is quite a bit intrusive...and apparently I can't change it so am stuck with it I guess.

sorry bout that.
