Ive already beaten the main questline.
I told Serana to part ways while in the Volkihar courtyard after i had the door cleared, and she said "all right ill meet you at darkfall cave" instead of Castle Volkihar.

She just loves to annoy the hell out of you anywhere she can.

Probably a glitch from the earlier quest.
